Packaging and Branding

The Stampede is an event hosted by Ford Mustang to reveal their all-new 2024, 7th generation Mustang in honour of Ford's 60th anniversary (founded in 1964). A special edition “Dark Horse” version of the mustang will also be released in honour of this. The symbol of the horse was my main muse when designing the packaging and branding for the event. For my project, I wanted to ensure that I focused on honouring the past generations of the Ford Mustang. Whether that was through illustrations, the gift itself, colour, the packaging, etc. For such an exclusive event, I wanted to make sure that the gift and packaging fit. The rainbow, holographic paper utilized throughout the design pays tribute to the previous 6 generations of Mustang, and the main navy blue colouring pays tribute to Ford's branding, and the special edition colour available for the new 7th generation Mustang.
