"What colour is this?" is a question not many people hear from their parents during their upbringing. For as long as I can remember, my dad has asked me to differentiate between a variety of common hues for him. Whether that be board game pieces, teams in my brother's hockey league, or Christmas ornaments. When I was fifteen I bought him Enchroma colour blind glasses, and I will never forget when he was able to recognise light purple for the first time as a cross between pink and blue. For this project I wanted pay tribute to one of the most important people in my life. My dad has done so much to make sure I pursue my career aspirations, and as a graphic designer, I take my ability to see the full colour spectrum for granted. This book allows me to see important aspects of his life through his eyes, and with the glasses, he is able to see them through mine.
